Paul Hawkins is a singer-songwriter, freelance writer and script consultant. His essays on cult television have been published in academic collections and he’s written articles for independent music magazines and health websites. His areas of specialism include DIY music, history, storytelling, myths & fairytales, employability and the public sector. He also writes personalised songs as gifts for special occasions and gives script advice to aspiring writers. He has a BA in Scriptwriting for Film and Television from Bournemouth University and a Masters in Producing Film and Television from Royal Holloway, University of London.
His recent commissions include writing the script and lyrics for a prospective musical and consulting on the creative design of an educational computer game to help long-termed unemployed people over come barriers to work.
