Hi everyone
It’s been a quiet month on Outsider Pop. After the success of the first Outsider Pop Night (more next year), I fled to rural Scotland to find the whiskey better than the internet access and took some time to recharge my batteries and try to remember some other songs for great moments in Outsider Pop. But now we’re back with a vengeance and some great material to look at in the next few weeks, starting off with a Great Moment in Outsider Pop.
No. 51 in the series was a tough choice. I’ve long been keen to include Eels on Outsider Pop in some capacity or another but have ummed and ahhed over which song to choose from.
I chose this for three reasons:
a) it’s a great song.
b) At Outsider Pop we want to give you something you may not have heard before.
c) The gesture behind making this video (as a tribute to an Eels fan who’d died) is pretty damn touching.
